West Berks Council is consulting on 20 mph speed limits for parts of Hermitage, Bucklebury and Cold Ash. We will be supporting the proposals and asking for the whole of the new Eling Way extension to be included in the scheme.

Have you checked out the Eling Way extension yet? The first section opened in 2020 between Hermitage and Hampstead Norreys. The route has now been extended into Hermitage. The aim is to extend south to Newbury and north to Didcot.

Went for a 80km spin in the wind. Tasty headwind up Ashbury hill to Lambourn, but better once heading north. Lambourn downs looked great in the winter sun. Loads of cyclists out.
