It occurs to me that THE barge the PCs get is not named ? The ‘Berebeli’ is well detailed in pt1 but in terms of campaign ‘screen time’ is less important.

Of my fave games, I’d argue that #WFRP4 achieves this via the colourful variety of professions. However of games on my shelf that I have yet to ‘bring to the table’ satisfactorily, then I’ll echo others here re #Pendragon and #RQG (traits, passions) etc

First RPG bought this year ? Don’t think I bought any new systems this year and while early months saw fulfilment of various older orders (e.g. #Lustria for #WFRP4) it looks like the first product I bought was the new #Arkham book for @chaosium.bsky.social ‘s #CallofCthulhu

So not one, but two characters in my #WFRP4 game have just contracted ‘Ye Galloping Trots’.
All of us grown men, sitting round a table in gales of laughter as I read out the ensuing rules…
Its not big and it’s not clever but - it’s why we play WFRP and such moments indeed why we game :)
One of those evenings where at 5pm, some time before my players arrived, I wondered whether I was ‘in the zone’ / ‘sufficiently prepped’ to GM well - and by 11pm was buzzing from the aftermath a great session where the dice produced mayhem & hilarity & I also landed a dramatic finale #wfrp4 #rpgs

This week’s #WFRP4 #warhammerrpg session: perfectly good NPC ambush undone by fumbles at critical moments; PCs emerged victorious, though slightly chastened, knowing the shoe could be on the other foot (nasty critical-wise).
Excitingly though, the session finished with them arriving in Bögenhafen..
