Finished spinning and plying this skein this weekend. Very, very pleased with how beautifully it turned out. The fabric this Polwarth will make is going to be just lovely. Not enough for the hood so...more spinning.

Lojan Buddy wheel trouble shooting loose wheel.

Has anyone had adverse experiences with Lojan wheels? I know it’s a new product and all I hear about it is good things, but I’ve been struggling with a few issues (the plastic “c” clamp holding the wheel steady just popped off while I was trying out 1:18 ratio.) #handspinning #wheelspinning

100% Polwarth fiber in the Opal colorway. Dyed by Greenwood Fiber Arts. It’s blues, greens, pinks, oranges, yellows, and black.

The same Opal fiber spun on a spinning wheel. The colors are muted because the black has been spun into them.

I have this hood pattern that I have been wanting to knit with this fiber but I keep thinking that it won’t be cold enough. Looks like it’s going to be very cold this week. The faster I spin, the sooner I’ll be warm.
