The walk from Eype up to Thorncombe Beacon follows a well-trodden path, winding along the cliffs with Dorset stretching out on every side. The views across Lyme Bay from the top are something else, sea and sky as far as you can see. Hard to beat on a clear day. #whereittakesus #Dorset #LymeBay

What feels like a rare, clear sky over Seatown Beach, Dorset. The moon hangs above the calm sea, a gentle reminder that even with all the rain, the sun and blue skies will come back. Sometimes you just have to wait and watch. #whereittakesus #Dorset #SeatownBeach

Caught the Cannington Viaduct in a rare bit of sun on a short walk. Dorset hasn’t seen much blue sky lately, so the light felt like a real treat. Sometimes all it takes is a bit of sunshine to see the place in a new way.

There’s something peaceful about a walk around the lakes at Stourhead. Every turn brings a new view. Reflections on the water, ancient trees, and gentle light. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and take it all in. #whereittakesus #Stourhead #LakesideWalks

Found this old windmill out on the Somerset Levels. The sails are long gone, but the wooden stocks still stand against the sky. Something is striking about those bare beams, reminders of all the wind and weather they’ve seen over the years. #whereittakesus #SomersetLevels #HiddenHistory

There’s something timeless about a walk along the Cobb in Lyme Regis, the sea on one side, old stone underfoot, and gulls wheeling overhead. Can’t beat that classic Dorset feeling.

Some days the clouds roll in, and the sea gets a bit moody, but even grey weather’s got its charm down here in the South West. Never quite looks the same twice.
