Each of three images is of a solid looking wild bay stallion with a couple of white socks, in the Sand Wash Basin wild horse range which is an expanse of sagebrush and grass with low mountain ridges in the background, under a light blue cloudy sky. In this image, the stallion is trotting calmly from left to right in the frame.
Here, the stallion has stopped in knee-high sagebrush and while his body faces away from the camera at a left to right oblique angle, he has turned to look over his right shoulder, ears pricked forward with curiosity.
In this third image, the stallion is broadside to the camera, facing left to right in the frame and looking at the right side of the image. His right hip is cocked as he relaxes.
I met this guy hanging by himself in Sand Wash Basin. He's got a little hint of curly in his mane and it makes me wonder how often Salt Wells Creek genes end up in Sand Wash Basin, they are not super far apart. #photography #wildhorses #wildhorsepc
