Absolutely loving #WolfMountain by @profaliceroberts.bsky.social but I was confused by the male lions making a kill rather than the females - I was also under the impression that male cave lions didn't have prominent manes (as shown in Chauvet cave) but perhaps they weren’t cave lions in the book?
