The #MadisonMallards increased their win streak to seven games and pulled within a game of the first-place #Wausau #Woodchucks. We still need Wausau to lose at least two games for a chance at making the playoffs. They play tonight (7/31) against the hapless Fond Du Lac Dock Spiders.

A fat, fuzzy brown groundhog looks over their shoulder. They are scurrying away to the cover of spruce trees after having been caught red pawed devouring all of the herbs growing in patio pots. They know they are a jerk, but cannot help it.
A patio pot of dill. An hour earlier it had been fluffy and robust lovingly nurtuted from seed, and ready to be harvested for a delicious sauce to accompany smoked, grilled salmon. Nothing remains but sad, denuded stems after a greedy groundhog devoured more than its share.
