A dream to #dominate
gone awry,
a revolution
under retreat,
#wrangle with democracy,
go against the wave,
total failure evident,
frozen in shock;

We
the dead dreamers
can’t bear these
atrocities-
you
the crude enablers
sit silently
thinking it won’t touch you.

When we wrangle
eyes burning with rage
tearing each other apart
with words as sharp
a broken shards of glass.
The temperature rising
as a rasping wind
whips up a storm
in the sea of acrimony
two dragons spit fire
anger smouldering
like the mouth
of a raging volcano

I watched the night
paint a #starry #curtain
across the sky,
#nauseated by
the idea of
your distance from me

yet I keep that
#liminal space close,
the one beyond #language,
the one where you are

where we #wrangle
the world,
bending it
like origami

and we
the folds
that touch.
