So, I heard you got writer’s block! Here are 3 handy tips on dealing with that.
Take a break! Sometimes you just have to take a break from writing the fanfic or short story or novel or whatever it could be. Get some fresh air, a snack, exercise, or do something that isn't writing related. THEN come back and write.
Listen To Music! Listening to music that somehow relates to what you write can get you quickly back in the mood to write more. Writing sci-fi? Listen to sci-fi-inspired music or some electronic or synthpop music. Writing fantasy novels? Listen to some Celtic or medieval-sounding music. Try finding a song or some musical piece that relates to your characters!
Brainstorm! Stuck in the middle of writing a scene? This is when you can brainstorm new ideas. It's all up to YOU to think of things, and I find this as a really useful tool for getting back to writing! Alternatively: Brainstorm with other fellow writers and ask your writing community for help/suggestions!
