I love this chapter. me writing a book: what if i don't mention the characters' nails and then readers don't think they have nails. i should include the sounds they make on various surfaces so readers know there is sound in this universe. i'll spent today cycling through youtube nail asmrs to ensure i employ only the most precise language for every tippy-tap. i will note each character's nail length in millimeters
