Another Oolong sample from Mud and Leaves, this one a Taiwanese 2019 "Jin Xuan Golden Lily". A "Milk Oolong", it is very light, subtle oolong with no roast and medium (25%) Oxidation. Tasty, but I probably should have drunk it sooner...

Alishan High Mountain Hade Oolong (spring, 2021) from Mud and Leaves is a super clean light oxidation and roast Taiwanese oolong. Pretty close to a green tea.

For the most part oolong tea isn't sold in compressed form. The only real exception is Zhangping Shui Xian from Southern Fujian. It is often sold in these cute little tile shaped pillows. This is a very nice example from Rivers and Lakes tea.

This Po Tou Xiang Dancong from MyTeaPal is one of the "not". Supposedly evocative of the flowers of Chinese Violet (Telosma cordata), I've got no frame of reference for the scent. It is a very nice!
