Before today’s challenge, there was the #WWDCScholarship. 🌍
It started back in 2011 and gave young devs a real reason to dream big. I joined that journey in 2017. 👇

Before the #swiftstudentchallenge, there was another #Apple youth competition with similar rules. The winners received a #WWDCScholarship! 🏅
I can't recall what finally prompted me to apply, but I did it! 🥳
#WWDC17 was my first encounter with a company I admired. 🤩
I'm not entirely sure how I heard about the #WWDCScholarship. As every year, I was eagerly anticipating #WWDC17.
When I discovered the chance to win a ticket to the #AppleEvent, I immediately got to work in Xcode. 👨💻
I was awarded the #WWDCScholarship twice in #WWDC17 and #WWDC19. My work was also featured in #SwiftStudentChallenge in #WWDC20 and #WWDC21.🏆
It was a huge cheer for me to be a better and better developer! It also allowed me to participate in the #AppleEvent for the first time!

I was awarded the #WWDCScholarship twice, in #WWDC17 and #WWDC19. My work was also featured in the #swiftstudentchallenge during #WWDC20 and #WWDC21. 🏆
These achievements boosted my motivation as a developer and gave me my first chance to participate in an #AppleEvent!

The atmosphere was already intensifying on Sunday as attendees collected their badges & starter kits. 🌟
#AppleSwag became almost as important as the new products set to be presented the next day. 🍎
#WWDC17 unveiled #WWDCPins, turning them into must-have collectibles. 📌

The #AppleEvent moved from Moscone Center’s West Hall. #WWDC17 returned to San Jose, hosting nearly 6k developers over 5 days. Attendees enjoyed sessions, labs, and fun extras like pins, T-shirts, and events. 🎤📣
Fall Out Boys rocked Discovery Meadow on day four, with games and entertainment.

#WWDC17: Seen a .heic file? The extension is pronounced 'heek' - it is an ISO-standard HEIF 'heef' image document that uses the HEVC codec
#WWDC17: Installed the iOS 11 beta? All camera modes are now capture .heic files (HEIF docs using the HEVC codec) - apart from Burst mode
#WWDC17: HEVC hardware encoding: 8-bit on 6th-gen Intel CPUs, also 10-bit on 7th-gen CPUs
#WWDC17: HEVC decode will be in FaceTime on Apple devices and Safari. Not the same as playable on all Apple devices
Apple is getting twice the number of HD movies in the same space using HEVC over H.264 using iOS cameras #WWDC17
