Danielle Noyes of @1degreeoutside.com has some important information about the storm that's coming to Boston this weekend: Anyone posting ranges or numbers for how much snow will fall is, as she puts it, "not responsible." And she has a point. #WXboston #snow #forecast #shorts
Picture of some snow-covered trees in my neighborhood
I forgot to share a picture I took this morning when my furry son went outside. #snow #WXboston @1degreeoutside.com
A snow-covered tree next door.
As I went around the house closing the windowshades, I had to grab my phone and get a picture of a tree next door. #WXboston #snow @1degreeoutside.com
Three household rubbish bins, covered with snow, set against the house in a snow-covered driveway. Snowy bootprints are visible just beyond the bins, going from the street toward the back of the house. The toes of the footprints show that the snow is 1-2" deep.
How much snow did we get? I guess Mom Nature got sick of hearing us sing, "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow." We didn't get a blizzard, but we got more than I expected. You can see the snow depth in my neighbor's bootprints when he came back from going out this morning. #WXboston #snow
We're getting some pretty fat flakes, too. I don't see any sticking yet, and 1 Degree Outside is saying just a coating for Boston. #WXboston
Whoops! I forgot to mention something. As of about half an hour ago, we have snow falling in my neck of Boston. Last I heard, the snow is likely to transition to a mix to rain before this storm moves out, so there's a chance I may have a white Catmas tomorrow. I know Chuck will love that. #WXboston
The heat ramps up in #boston and across the rest of #newengland starting Thursday, peaking Friday afternoon with a heat index of 100 degrees. www.bostonglobe.com/2025/07/23/m... #weather #heat #heatindex #heatdome #wxboston #humidity
We should get another rain-free Saturday, but Mom Nature's being mean on Sunday. #WXboston
