Plant app 23 years old (I collected the seed for it) & flowering for the first time, my other ones are yet to flower.
Some observations:
Easy to grow from seed
Don't "need" fire for flowering, moving or germination
Trunk growth 3-5cm/yr if roots have room.

While it’s commonly called the Gracefull Grasstree, #Xanthorrhoea gracilis, is less “tree-like” than the others, forgoing the many trunk and just being a tuft of basal leaves, along with these tall inflorescences that get to 2m!
