Thinking about her hand in the Nadaam. It was her first full-scale battle experience. A true fight to the death. Frightening but also exhilarating. While not fully experienced, the things she suffered in Ishgard did prepare her for how brutal it would potentially be. #xivlorebook

Does anyone else think that healers should have high pain tolerances? To be able to think in the midst of battle. One wrong spell could make things worse.

Aki will cook for her closest friends. It’s another reason why she always keeps snacks on her person. They aren’t for her specifically. She likes to keep them on her for people who need it. (though come in handy when she’s traveling).

Kali’s eyes are supposed to be reminiscent of sea glass. Something weathered by the endless flow of time.
When I came up with Aki originally, I was a sucker for the black and red combo, though technically her eyes are brown. Her aether is what causes the red shimmer.

Akai’s mother tried to teach her patience and pacifism through diplomacy. When she was younger, the lessons felt ridiculous and often stole away to train with the lancers. As she got older she began to realize her mother was right.
