Future Donashi returns home to Shaaloani and Yadokkya helps him readjust to a more normal life They adopt Gulool Ja (officially). He’s still under the care of Oblivion, though, since he stays in S9 Koana proposes to them with a topaz ring he commissioned from XRral Soj’s Metalwares, using a topaz he purchased from Shunye’s Apothecary They would have preferred a lowkey wedding, but both of them being who they are, that wasn’t gonna happen especially at Wuk Lamat’s insistence. It’s a big festival that lasts a week. Their wedding rings are bands with small topazes that are aetherically linked to each other (a la the dawn/dusk ring sidequest (which Koana learned about when they visited the Hhetsarro in 7.1)) The marriage is mostly a formality given that Shetona don’t wed in the conventional sense They don’t have an elaborate honeymoon, but Yadokkya takes him home to Shaaloani and they spend time with their family, and showing him around About 3-4 years after they wed, they have Toahwi, named after the Hhetsarro word for dawn (toa), representing Koana being more accepting of his heritage. She takes an interest in trains because of her father and works at Shaaloani Station under K’oshi when she’s older. helps the crew realize their dream of having trains spanning Xak Tural
