Symbols: The 3 symbols on his chest resemble tattoos. They mean guidance, strength, and protection. Scars: The right side of his face, his left shoulder, and his upper arm are covered in scars. Expressions: Most of Zhaikes‘ facial expressions are stern, confident, haughty or angry. When he smiles, it is often a mixture of smugness, challenge, and humor.

The only obvious characteristic that is connected with gender identity are the chin tips. Having chin tips is considered "male" and not having them is considered "female".

His left upper arm and shoulder, as well as the right side of his face, are scarred. Scales protect the sensitive skin and nerve endings beneath, and they can be slightly lifted.

Those symbols are words. Zhor Khat (his species) typically use a combination of single letters to construct words, but there are also words that have their very own symbols. Like those on his chest and the one on his wrist.

Several digital sketches of the same character, Zhaikes, in various stages of exploration. The goal was to find the right shapes for his one-sided mask, which covers his right eye and part of his face. In the center of the mask is a round shape that indicates his eye. Stage 1 of the sketches shows a rough sketch of his face and mask. Stage 2 shows two more polished sketches, where his face is the same, only the shapes of the mask and eye are different. Stage 3 shows the final version. The mask partially overlaps his brow and the eye has a soft glow. I also added Zhaikes' bio-armor.

#Katrizs is an informant and works for Skara, which is Zhaikes' (antagonistic) sister. Yes, Zhaikes is the guy I talk so much about.
