I think it's bad that a candidate for Senate doesn't know the contents of the resolutions they talk about
Basically just get rid of the Senate and make SCOTUS into a second House (auto-updating population proportionate body) and that fixes a lot of issues
Bulls..t! Alabamians need to ask themselves if they want a governor who wants to end social security? Tuberville makes a fortune playing the stock market on inside Senate information but clearly doesn’t have a clue how Alabama seniors worked hard…
The Democrats are feeling increasingly bullish on flipping both the House & the Senate. Data journalist @gelliottmorris.com says an unpopular White House is responsible. Pollster Cornell Belcher says “It is impossible for Republicans right now to move away from the President.” #Velshi

pushed by Senate President Nick Scutari, who represents a very flood-prone district (my district!) where flash floods routinely come with a death toll
You would have a point if Bernie’s resolution was about the Iron Dome, which it was not.
It was strictly about *offensive* weaponry.
A sitting governor running for Senate at the age of 78 doesn’t know the basics of a major vote in the Senate? Let’s elect her!
Janet Mills says she wouldn't have voted for the resolutions in the Senate to restrict arms sales to Israel— and her reason is that the resolutions would've blocked Iron Dome interceptors.
The two resolutions had nothing to do with Iron Dome interceptors #Ustrumpout
Senate Dems say a 27-year-old died in ICE custody on Sun. Just one day prior, a 47-year-old Mexican national also died. Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has blasted “serious deficiencies in ICE detention centers,” calling them “incompatible w/human rights standards and the protection of life.”
Congratulations to Analilia Mejia of NJ District 11!
Mejia won this Special Election by almost 20 points, keeping Sherrill's House seat in Democrat hands.

6 years from now Republicans will be on Fox News bitching about how President Newsom and the Democratic House and Senate have been too focused on fixing all Trump’s fuck ups, that they haven’t reduced the deficit enough. Paramount will be belly up and Colbert will be Ambassador to Iran. #VoteBlue
The first Democratic 2028 hopeful who says, “elect me and give me a senate majority and I will add not less than four new liberal justices to the court” gets my vote
Not sure I buy the Alito/Thomas news, but LMAO if their massive egos get in the way of the project to extend conservative dominance on the Court. Of course it means nothing unless Democrats take the Senate.
The Senate just rejected a War Powers Resolution on Iran for the fourth time this year. Sen. Mark Kelly’s PEACE ACT (S.4278) would claw back $1.25 billion Trump redirected into a new “Board of Peace” without congressional sign-off.
Extending TPS for Haiti is the right thing to do, and it's good policy.
I'm so proud of our broad, diverse, and bipartisan coalition that made this victory possible.
Now, we take this work to the Senate.
Mills has run just about the worst campaign possible in this race. Platner is a miserable candidate and there's strong reason to think he would be a disaster in the Senate. Unfortunately, he hasn't faced a real primary because Mills has shown that she's totally incompetent at even basic campaigning.
The thing about the Maine Senate race is that there are other Dem candidates besides Platner and Mills. Like LaFlamme.
But one wing of the party is lined up behind the woman criticizing a resolution she didn't read, and the other is with the cosplay oytserman with a Nazi tattoo.
It's bad.
Trump and his Republican House & Senate members are corrupt and don't care about working Americans. Vote them all out.
without commenting on any of the new allegations about either platner or mills, i just have to say: schumer recruiting mills (and mills accepting!) was an enormous own goal for the institutional democratic party
when the margins in the senate are this tight this kind of fuckup is discrediting
Janet Mills says she wouldn't have voted for the resolutions in the Senate to restrict arms sales to Israel— and her reason is that the resolutions would've blocked Iron Dome interceptors.
The two resolutions had nothing to do with Iron Dome interceptors and were about bulldozers and 1000lbs bombs.
One of the first things Democrats should focus on if they take back the House and Senate, is to immediately file articles of impeachment on the Seditious Six within SCOTUS, who are clearly bias, and willfully under the control of Donald Trump.
NO MERCY for the corrupt!

Grieving for the Boundary Waters and what it means for all of us — the Senate voting to strip Minnesota’s Boundary Waters of protection from mining pollution sets a precedent for Republicans to tear down protected area status of all other public lands through the Congressional Review Act.
AP:
Ohio’s nursing homes are dumping patients at homeless shelters.
Me: Vote Sherrod Brown back into the Senate.
This story should have wall-to-wall news coverage & needs to be cited in EVERY Democrat campaign ad from now until we get 60 Senate seats (and House majority).
We've knows about this for years, now we have the proof. We gave them lifetime appointments and they staged a goddamn COUP! #60forSCOTUS
