Joe Pye Weed is a fan favorite around here! In Northern Michigan, it grows wild in marshy areas along creeks and and ponds. I recommend it for landscaping in partial shade areas that tend to retain more rain than usual. Perfect for low areas in your yard. The flying insects love it, and so will you!
