Just want to say, everyone that's sorrowful, horrified, enraged, disgusted and trying like hell to turn away from cynicism and numbness and fear, I feel you. I don't have any great platitudes, just...I know where you're coming from.

That was really a thing one or two generations ago. It’s still there but less severe. I grew up an hour from the city in New Hampshire and my father had a thick New England accent. I don’t have much of one, but it becomes apparent when I’m tired or have been drinking.
