TOS movies > TNG movies > Abrams movies, and I say this as a NG fan (it was my first Star Trek series)

Wrath of Khan alone makes TOS movies the best.

Getting ready to start it. Definitely looking forward to TBC. My favorite all time book club.

"I am sure I misunderstood you, Rudesell," said her father finally, after he had found breath enough to speak. "Would you mind repeating that?"

"Not at all," was the calm reply. "I want to marry. Professor Atkins is congenial in many ways. I shall tell him so."

"But, my child! You can't do that!" her mother protested weakly.

"My dear parents," she told them composedly, "you have taught me to admit of no obstacles nor limitations. Why should I balk at convention? It is natural to marry. I wish to. Professor Atkins and I will establish another such congenial household as this one. It is for this purpose that I bought that land behind the campus. I have the house plans completed to the last detail. We can build this summer and be settled by the time the new college year begins. It seems to me most efficient."

Reading "There's No Going Back," Jane Littell's first piece of fiction (from SWEETHEART STORIES, January 3, 1928), and the heroine is basically a Vulcan. 🖖 #pulp #romance #romancelandia #fascinating

This evening… 37 years from now… in 2063, a Vulcan ship will land in Bozeman, MT, making first contact.

A reminder from Star Trek: leadership starts with curiosity, courage, and choosing connection over fear.

Happy #FirstContactDay 🖖 #LLAP

Like I said do many times !

A kiss between 2 humans with a different skin color was controversial back then. Today it would been labeled as woke. Star Trek did many awesome things in the 60s, 80s and 90s but some Ideas where not possible at that time. Sadly that even today nothing changed.

It is great sequel to ST:TMP. I enjoyed revisiting Yonada and it's people. The interaction between McCoy and Spock. In addition to Chekov's move into security.

As we age we evolve into something better. That is what the Enterprise crew did. They took their experiences and grew from past experiences. What we do as a species.

I feel like they will evolve from this situation. They will find their purpose and meet the people's needs.

I really do not think that it would work. They did the nature thing and parted ways. With McCoy on the Enterprise, I highly doubt it.

Well with this world religion is key. This lesson on how to address religion as a entity of control like it is in this world, made them think otherwise. I say that the acceptance of the truth is a world about to evolve.

It says a lot about how they created the Oracle to guide future generations to a world they can claim their own. They knew their world was dying. So they did the most logical thing to preserve their heritage.

By far Spock had the most mental discipline of the two. His knowledge /experience base out weighed Dovraku's. Even though he may have been strong-willed, he stood no chance.

I liked it. Who knows what aliens would be like. Sulu made a wise decision in submitting to them. He gained their trust by doing so. This is proactive thinking on his part.

Spock is not impressed with this drivel.

I so enjoyed watching the young ensign evolve from a navigator to Security Chief. Well, he could not stay an ensign forever. The nature of the universe is to mature and evolve. Now he has to "mother" Kirk.
