NGC 7000 or the North America Nebula. This emission nebula lives up to its name for a strong resemblance to the North America continent, with the lower part of the image representing Mexico and Central America. The large dark area at the bottom is actually a dense cloud of dust and gas, named LDN 935, that blocks the light from the nebula, and forms the Gulf of America. The central, middle, and top of the image are less distinct and form the US and Canada. I could not fit the entire image of this nebula on my camera's sensor so I shot two panels, 4 hours integration each, then combined.

Looking up at the (almost) perfectly symmetrical A'DAM Tower/Toren (Amsterdam). The building was designed by Arthur Staal and completed in 1971. In 2016, an observation deck, A'DAM Lookout was added to the very top, making for a unique medley of architectural styles.
