Baldwin-Brown et al. confined pigeon lice to color-mismatched hosts for ca. 60 generations, and tracked genomic changes, revealing parallel phenotypic adaptation in color via largely non-overlapping loci.

@phessenauer.bsky.social et al. find that moisture drives adaptation in the pathogens that cause Dutch elm disease, dothistroma needle blight, and Swiss needle cast, revealing convergent evolution in response to precipitation and humidity.
