A lovely hike along the South Downs Way, finishing up by going deep into Cocking. A small village where we finished.
A sunny Saturday was perfect for a run. Planned for 30km but happy with the 20.5km I managed. Good practice in case #Brighton and #London #marathons are scorchers like last year!

Went out this morning ready for a lovely intervals session but sadly I didn’t complete.
2km warm up run was good but 400m into my first interval I felt cold water pouring down my bum
Opened my bag to find water bottle had leaked into the bag. It literally put a dampener on.

New hair, new me!
My fiancée, The Beautiful One offered to cut my hair and beard so I could stop looking like a hobbit!
This was a first for both of us and I think it was a great success! In fact she cut it better than many of the barbers I’ve been to! Awesome!

Bacon wrapped chicken, vegetables with a red wine jus.
Needed to use the chicken and bacon tonight and found an old bottle of red wine with just a glass remaining. Thought I’d make something a bit special with it all.4
Quite impressed with my red wine just from scratch! Still got it!
We take a quick look at the notion of cybersecurity false positives through the medium of cats.
False positives are where a system can think something is a threat when it isn’t. They take up a lot of time to work through and can be annoying. However they’re much better than the alternative.
So we only managed 18.5km of our run today but I’m OK with that! Honestly!
