This is one of those books where I would stand on rooftops with a megaphone to tell everyone to read it. I love the feeling of really loving a book this much.

Whoops! I should have mentioned that, sorry! Got caught up with talking about the book! The artist is Marcin Minor & yes, the illustrations are stunning! It's truly one of the best stories I have ever read.

I think this is the best Middle Grade book I have ever read. Cried & cried at the end. A beautiful, funny & heart-breaking story. Aubrey Hartman is a truly gifted writer who knows how to spin a great yarn, whilst always respecting the reader and respecting the story. JUST READ IT. #Fox #MiddleGrade

Yes to this! I can't afford to buy books anymore, so I spend a LOT of time at our local library. I get excited every time I pick up my holds. And we need those books in libraries also because of Public Lending Rights, another way to keep us creator going! (I've got Still Friends on hold. Woot!)

That's great! Yes, I discovered the Deptford trilogy in high school as well. I even got to meet Robertson Davies once when he did a literary event in Burlington, Ontario. He was a tad intimidating, but very impressive.

I decided to reread one of my favourite novels -- Rebel Angels by Robertson Davies. I love books set in universities, & I love great dialogue & big ideas. I discovered the works of Francois Rabelais & Paracelsus in this rich, lush & clever novel. Now I want to reread Fifth Business & all his works!
