Nobody warned me how much time supervising MAs takes up (or at least, supervising them with modicum of care and encouragement). The MA thesis model is brutal: big piece of work, little time in which to do it, a major step up for many students. Are PhD supervisons as intense?
Also, where did the surname Carter come from? In #theArchers New Years Eve episode, when he explained the story to Hannah I don't think anyone had the surname (could be misremembering though).
