The smart scissors in #liiive are just old-school computer vision (edge detection). But I want to add SegmentAnything later, too. It's already available in IMMARKUS (and works with #IIIF)!

Had an idea over the weekend for a new #liiive feature that’s going to TOTALLY REVOLUTIONIZE IMAGE ANNOTATION!

Okay, maybe not quite. But seriously—had an idea for something that could be pretty useful for teaching & scholarly work. Need to wrap up a few other things first but I’ll keep you posted!

Issue: edits don't get stored - liiive When I try to edit an annotation (in my permanent room) the annotation reverts back to the original after save....

I'm currently investigating an odd issue on #liiive: sometimes, edits to an existing annotation get discarded when clicking "Save".
