Ooo! Botanical/plant horror? Sign me up!🤩
Hi #crplyrebirds! I’m querying one project, but after some 10queries feedback, I’m editing it again. I also have a brand new project that I recently started drafting.
As for making progress…it’s a busy time at work (I work in a school) so anything (no matter how small) is progress!
That’s amazing!!!
#camprevpit #crplyrebirds
For my new project, I am lost in a major city, my phone is dead, and I only have the vague directions I memorized. My querying project, I thought I reached the end of the hike, saw the beautiful mountain vista then realized I still need to hike back…
The power the cow holds is immense!
This would be how a farming back to the future story would begin. Who needs a DeLorean when you have the cow rotator?
Oooo, I love the idea of a space hotel!!!
A bit of both! The underground does help protect them from terrible, toxic storms, but also, this specific city was established to breakaway from the rich, orderly domed city above ground
Also, I enjoy coffee or a matcha latte while I write🍵
👋 #crplyrebirds! Excited to meet everyone! I write soft sci-fi and fantasy. I’m querying a YA sci-fi and one detail I love is how one of the cities is underground, inside a vast cavern-like space where the ground above has large openings where daylight can pour through
Thank you!☺️
Hi! I’d love to join if it’s not too late!
Ahh, signed up for my first #camprevpit! So excited!
Spring is here 😍
Ahh, received confirmation I was one of the #10queries posts—love receiving feedback and having some direction of how to tweak my manuscript and query letter!
Congratulations to all the #revpit winners and runner ups!! Cannot wait to learn more about each project!✨
Ugh, forgot my kindle today😭
Best of luck to everyone tomorrow #revpitwaiting! Writing a book is no easy feat. I’ve seen so many phenomenal ideas and talented writers during this time—I just know everyone will reach their goals!🌟
The Artemis II Mission was also a hopeful event because everyone was competent, everything was based in taking science forward and it wasn’t funded by a cartoon villain billionaire and we aren’t used to seeing that kind of national event from America anymore.
Thankful I live in an area where my local grocery store has a DJ every Saturday 🪩
Almost at 10k words in my new project🤘

Good luck with your goals!!
The query trenches are not for the faint of heart — I’m right there along with you! Good luck with your projects!!
#revpitwaiting #revpit
To keep on writing! I’m working on a new project while TSW remains in the query trenches. I also am hoping to tackle revisions on the first draft of another project that’s been sitting for awhile due to how much work it needs😅
a blue graphic with an outline of the United States. Red and white text reads: Call. National Book Banning Bill Proposed in US House of Reps. Tell your rep: Vote no on H.R. 7661.
a blue and red graphic with white text that reads: House Republicans have introduced a bill to effectively grant the federal government decision-making power over what books make it into the library. H.R. 7661 is a national-level book banning bill that would ban any book that, according to the bill's language, "(ii) involves gender dysphoria or transgenderism." This means any book about a trans person or the trans experience would be banned from every public school in the United States.
a blue graphic with red and white text that reads: Call your reps. Tell them they must oppose this bill at every turn. It is egregiously unconstitutional, targets ideas based on ideological disapproval, and misleads parents and the public about the content of children's books. It does nothing to protect kids and will badly harm education. It will tie school material funding into knots and hurt anyone who is a library materials vendor, regardless of content. If you are a bookseller, librarian, or author, tell them your livelihood depends on the next generation of readers.
Call your reps and tell them to vote no on H.R. 7661. Thanks to @authorsabb.bsky.social for these helpful graphics.
