Nice early morning walk in the Wyre, first pied fly are back with 2 seen #Worcsbirds
Yeah 3 hour round trip is not so great, especially as the best time is early morning, before it gets to busy. I've no problems with you sharing.
Thanks Martin, both looked fresh in, feeding constantly on the slopes.
Titterstone Clee this morning, 2 ring ouzel feeding on the slopes at w3w punters layover static and a wheatear. #shropshirebirding

Well that's me done at Chelmarsh for the #WestMidsAllDayer. Bit of a mixed day with a lot of disturbance. Lots of sailing going on also strimming around the scrape.
Common birds missing GSW, kestrel and m thrush etc, but some good birds as well Ruff, barn owl, yel wag, redstart & spot fly. Total 72
The WMBC car park overlooking Church Farm Pits Grimley will remain open to all birders throughout the weekend.
Glad all went well and the directions helped ๐
Quick early evening dash to #uptonwarren for the female Red necked phalarope, still present at 6.45pm. Hope it stays overnight for those unable to make it this evening #Worcsbirds
Been returning to Grimley for about the last 4 years
Nice morning at Grimley. Whimbrel circled twice before continuing North towards Church farm, garden warbler, plenty of swifts and hirundines and 4 cuckoos including an hepatic phase female #Worcsbirds
Delighted to catch up with the Woodchat shrike at Stafford this afternoon. Showed pretty well TBF, though was quite mobile at times #UKbirding
It is already posted on ebird Roger
Chelmarsh on the #westmidsalldayer. All done for me. Tough going later, cold northerly gale not helping things. Several glaring omissions Jay, Red Kite, Sprawk, Kestrel, willow warbler, starling! #Shropshirebirds
Morning update from Chelmarsh on the #westmidsalldayer 62sp by 9am highlights so far barn owl, lesserthroat, yellow wag. Still some easy ones to find fingers crossed ๐ค #Shropshirebirds
Good to be walking out as the hoards were arriving ๐
Thanks Gert. Yeah, great to see them back this year. Good luck tomorrow, hopefully it will be less busy than today!
Lovely early morning walk in the Wyre, multiple pied fly, redstart, tree pipit, etc and 2 singing wood warbler. Wood warbler surely have to be one of the best warblers in the uk. #Worcsbirds
After work jaunt for the Halesowen Hoopoe. Showed well but never that close. Nice to see everyone there keeping a respectful distance ๐ #ukbirding
Wyre forest again this morning, Highlight definitely singing Wood Warbler, plenty of Pied Fly, Tree pipit and redstarts in the usual places, also 3 Garden Warbler + usual warblers #worcsbirds

Late morning/early afternoon wander around Grimley clp.
BNG still there, also redstart, day flying barn owl, sedge warbler, red kite and whitethroat best of the rest #worcsbirds
Quick dash down to Grimley for the summer plumaged BNG at clp. Showed really well in the NE corner, though did disappear for about 15 mins, presumably went into reeds before coming out again to its favoured area. Also sedge warbler on the north causeway. #worcsbirds
