I dig how the Holga look helps draw your eye to the center of the frame and back into the background
New Hampshire, morning after going out in a downpour, rear element fogged up on me for a bit. Happy accident

I’m a big fan of Cassette — very versatile for other film formats is that’s of any interest; otherwise I’m intrigued by the lens mounted ones as well provided the light source is good (you need VERY even illumination for good results)
I made “Le Palais Royal” in 2014 after my retirement from filmmaking and at the beginning of my still photography period. It very quickly became a popular image among my collectors. #filmisnotdead #photographie
I really oughta get my Mamiya Six out to play, it’s been too long!
Wacky perforations though!

Pan-x is basically immortal
A black-and-white photo of a "Turning vehicles yield to pedestrians" sign between a road and a divided bike lane. The sign has been hit, with the pole bent at 90º in two spots with the lower one cracked almost off.

A foggy night scene looking down the sidewalk at the top of a bridge. One street lamp in the foreground, and numerous others in the background, illuminate the scene with one silhouetted figure walking away in the distance
The bridge (also a good sonny rollins album)

The motion of the second hand in that first one is freaking RAD
Mannn I have such specific nostalgia for grocery outlet
Yeah it’s a little rough with the darker areas I’ve found, I like it a lot more rated at 125 and metering for shadows
Haha yeah this comment brought to you by the film door on my FE
If I had to guess these look like light leaks from the film door more than a scanner, but either way they definitely add to the image!
A moody, black and white image of a man ascending a staircase to an elevated subway platform in Chicago's downtown also known as The Loop.
More highlights of my street photography in advance of a new series starting March 31st. All of my photos are for sale as prints.

All the motivation I need to not quite totally tidy up!
A messy butcher block countertop in dim soft morning light. A lemon, cut in half, sits at the center of the frame with the peel just beginning to contract as it dries out. It is surrounded by a yellow citrus squeezer, a metal can of olive oil, some reusable blue ice packs, a box greater, and a cloth napkin.
Sometimes that soft morning light hits just right on your messy countertop from dinner the night before

Oh man, what a delightful little bit of burn on the edge of that frame
Did you tone these or is that all the paper?
Possibly my favorite sound of any camera
A man with a scruffy beard sits in a folding chair on the back deck of his house, in the shade. He’s looking away from the camera over his right shoulder at a small gap in the fence behind him, where a snaggle toothed dog is poking its head through the gap asking for attention
A close-up of the very friendly, but not very friendly looking, dog poking his head through a gap in the fence
One of the top all-time fence dogs.

🤣
Film image of street art at a harbor. A graffiti of a young boy in black shorts, black slippers and a white shirt is fishing the sticker on the other part of the sign. The shirt has Aloha written on it. The graffitied sign is mounted to a building, next to a channel of water leading into the harbor. Boats on the harbor are visible on the back.
A blank gray sign that used to show a graffiti of a boy. The sign is mounted onto a building, next to a channel that leads into the harbor. Boats are visible on the harbor. Blue skies with a few white clouds.
Every time I walk by this spot I smile and think to myself, how lucky am I that I captured this art before it was removed.
Bring your camera everywhere.

1950s-60s pop rock act The Everly Brothers, who kinda look like a soft version and a pointy version of the same guy.

Yoooo, nice!
On a foggy night, several freight trains are lined up in a rail yard in Northeast Minneapolis. On the right side of the image one train, mostly white tanker cars, is moving slowly while on the left side the headlight of an engine shines through the fog
Just as soon as I start questioning whether I want to leave borders on my photos, Flashes becomes generally available and gives me back a grid and proper multi-image posts

Mannn I miss my XA2
