Just spent a lovely morning with Leo Denham of Denhams Auctioneers filming the Sir Barnes Wallis Collection that is up for auction next week.
It is an incredible collection which you will have seen in so many books and on load to the RAFM.

My first edition copies of the late Len Deighton's Bomber and Goodbye Mickey Mouse on my book self. The cover of Bomber shows a 'Bomber's Moon' in the clouds at night while the cover of Goobye Mickey Mouse shows the polished nose of a P-51 Mustang.
Very sad to hear of Len Deighton's passing. Of course, his Bomber and Goodbye Mickey Mouse had lasting effects on the junior #avgeek in me. Harry Palmer also fed many of spy obsessions.
