I think we need more "I hated it, I bombed, I skipped it, I can't do it, and I failed" posts. :) That would be more the story of my decades of running. :)

I managed another one. Two new footpaths covered too. Unfortunately one was an ancient sunken lane that had a concrete field drain into it, so was a full flowing stream bed. Overall very enjoyable

Today marks one year of #ParkRun for me. I've managed to do the 5k 32 times and have volunteered 13 times, usually as parkwalker or as the barcode scanner. It's a great community and I'm really glad I have one nearby.
So I did it. Fantastic sunshine. Horizon to horizon rainbow but not in the direction I was going so no rain. River roaring but not on the riverbank paths. More than happy I did that

OK, I managed to do it. After 40 days of travelling, illness and recovery I got out there and did a reasonable run. Hampered by wind and the Wye flooding from the recent storm, it was actually a beautifully sunny and warm day.

Fediverse check: parking for a week near Hereford station
Going on holiday for eight days, need to park, reasonably close to the train station. Since the council changed from Ringo app to Justpark it doesn't seem to be possible to pay for a multi day stay.

Well I managed to run a whole half marathon this morning!
Longest training run was only 10km so I wasn't sure I would make the distance.
I've never done one before, so 2 hrs 12 mins is my new PB!

My #Garmin watch started charging erratically so I sent it off under warranty. Backup watch, previous model, has produced a terrible GPS track. Seems it doesn't want to sync to #smashrun either, so sharing the Garmin activity.
