While stakeholders discussed how livestock production may be a poor proxy for food quality or farm business viability, there was concern among all groups about the impact on upland birds.

We find that increasing tree cover results in positive outcomes for GHG emissions, water-run off, recreation, woodland birds & timber. But we do identify trade-offs with negative outcomes on livestock and upland birds.
