It boggles my mind that in 2026 people are still getting hospital acquired Covid.

They’re still having to choose between care and Covid.

They’re still having to risk their health to access medical care.

We can do better than this.

Clean air and respirators save lives!

Well said, Anne! It’s like the emperor’s new clothes when no one will mention the blindingly obvious issue of illness affecting attendance.

🚨 Our air is invisible—but its impact isn’t.
From long COVID to winter viruses, poor ventilation is costing lives.
It’s time to make clean air a right, not a privilege.

We follow the advice.

We pace, we rest.

We try supplements.

We meditate.

We seek tests and trials...

But none of this is enough.

We can't do this on our own.

On #LongCovidAwarenessDay the government must commit to properly investing in finding treatments for #LongCovid.

Brexit reset could force UK to lower standards on animal rights Improved animal welfare standards were touted as a key benefit of leaving the EU

It would be a travesty if Labour reversed the ban on live animal exports and weakened animal welfare protections.

The Prime Minister must make upholding animal welfare standards a red line in negotiations.

Late last year I lost my job to #LongCovid.

20 yrs working for the #NHS.

I'm too ill to work so I'm reliant on benefits.

To get me well enough to work I need the government to invest in finding treatments for #LongCovid.

Cutting my benefits won't get me back to work.

A young child gazes thoughtfully at a colorful, swirling painting on a glass window. The artwork features vibrant rainbow hues and the child holds a brush in one hand, looking contemplative. The background includes a dark blue space with text about National Day of Reflection, emphasizing remembrance for those affected by the pandemic.

Our mission as a community is to continually reflect to society that:

🔍We are still in a pandemic
🔍We still need effective mitigations
🔍Not enough is being done to solve the devastation that is #longcovid

A bird's-eye view of a former Auschwitz II-Birkenau camp showing a wide dirt pathway flanked by parallel rows of barbed-wire fences. Groups of visitors walk along the path, surrounded by the remnants of brick structures and barracks, now reduced to foundations. Green grass contrasts with the somber history of the site, as the path leads toward a guard tower in the distance.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.
