replaced my old cheap guitar cable that died with a new, brand name one and i cannot believe the difference. much better. i guess the last one was dying for a long time because my recordings haven’t ever sounded this crystal clear...

just wanted to get this local business some exposure after a great interaction with its owner, Mark. great prices and a pleasure to buy from—beautiful handmade rugs in all kinds of sizes and designs.

Leuchtende Kehlchen.

a new journaling “style” i’ve started lately is to write in a local html/css website and attach it to my own git server for version history. this way i can exactly define the way the journal looks and where the files live. as a bonus, it’s completely portable.
how anyone can use and rely on gen ai for anything at all so eagerly and thoughtlessly is beyond me

Photograph of the silhouette of one little branch of a tree, covered with leaves, and berries at its top. Unfortunately I don't know the tree's exact name. In the background are more silhouettes of trees.
Photograph of a sunset scene in the woods, with several bare trees captured against the blue / light pink or peach sunset sky.
Photograph of a puddle in the city, with the reflection of the cloudy sky and a traffic light in it.
Capture of one little white blooming flower, on a small branch, with several more buds on it.

photograph of a pink gerbera daisy. taken from the side as the light hits it. petals twisting and turning. surrounded by green leaves. i always prefer sunlight, rather than a light setup. still, wanted to see what would happen. but i'm hoping for sun in the morning. and want to see what these daisies look like in natural light.

Couple of amazing skies from 2023. Right, off to the supermarket to snag the bargains of the century.
