Didn't have much time today, so I did a quick sketch of Ruby! I've let the last few pieces that are supposed to be "quick doodles" experience scope creep and turn into a multi-hour endeavor, so the next few nights might be simpler stuff like this.

Doodle Day 15! I love protogen, and their heads are a fun way to practice portraits and 3d shapes at the same time. I want to experiment with more visor geometries and different perspectives, but for tonight, I just had time to doodle my proot: Alpha! Please be gentle, he gets very anxious.

Not all wasps have wings. Female Catocheilus flower wasps are parasites of ground beetle larvae and have lost the wings. They attract flying males with pheromones from exposed perches. Some orchids mimic them, tricking males for pollination.
