During the IV Ocean Decade Conference on Fogo Island, Projecto Vitó proposed creating a Marine Protected Area between Fogo and Brava.
If approved, it will boost Cabo Verde’s protected waters from 0.4% to 1.4%, strengthening the nation’s commitment to biodiversity and sustainability.
