Not used to running in the evening. I was worried I’d not have the energy left as I had already run that morning and done a day of work. Fortunately, I surprised myself, albeit it was a social, chatty pace. 😁🏃🚇

Nope, the drugs DO work!!! 🤣

Been to the dentist and diagnosis is I need an extraction. I am beyond terrified with all things medical so it has to be done under sedation. Appointment is booked (early dec)… 😭😭

(fortunately I have other qualities… apparently)…

Dropped from 55 to 53 in 4 weeks 🤬 I’ve cracked a 🦷 so on strong 💊 Must be something to do with this 🤷‍♂️

It’s infuriating & demoralising until you ask ChatGPT how I compare (age/weight/fitness averages). Then it’s like having your hair stroked whilst hearing “soft kitty, warm kitty..” being sung ☺️

I find this very hard to believe. My garmin hates me. 😵‍💫

Up in the Highlands for a few days. Sarah is in Ipswich so just Simon helping me continue my streak. 299 continuous days, 2669 miles for the year completed.

Completed another personal marathon this morning - 2nd in 2 weeks - and maintained my run streak (228 days, 2064 miles). I’m glad I don’t get bogged down in the science of running and miss the fun and sense of freedom it gives.

Saw an unattended fire near #BostonManorPark by the #GrandUnionCanal on our morning run. @sarahkern.bsky.social called 999, I gave the #what3words location. A mile later, #LFB rang back—lost. I sprinted back to guide them. Chiswick crew put it out with buckets + bats. Got a thumbs-up at the end. 👊🔥

Today marked my 6 month running streak (182 continuous days). So far I’ve managed 1566 miles (avg 8.5 miles a day).

As you’re a professional streaker, when did you count your half year? I’m on day 182 so do I have to do a half run at teatime today or wait until tomorrow…. 🤔

Streak day 171 and 1475 miles completed. After months/years of looking for the little owl at #warrenfarm and never seeing it, today I did and managed to get a few photos too!! Happy days.

Went to the Beaver Project in Greenford yesterday evening. We often run through it but never at a time they are active. (Beavers - crepuscular/nocturnal
Me - diurnal).

We went for a mooch, which meant I could take my DSLR for a change. Rather pleased I did!
