De l’herbe gelée prise en photo en gros plan, au ras du sol.
Mon dossard, blanc et bleu arborant le numéro 120, avec l’herbe et mes chaussures, floues en fond.
Les stats de course du jour. Treize bornes et 230 mètres de dénivelé positif en 1 heure et 2 minutes. Sur le profil du terrain, on voit clairement le pic vers 8,5 km, avec une sacrée grimpette puis une descente tout aussi radicale.
Du froid, pas de pluie et un peu de rab de distance à cause d’un balisage manquant mais que du kiff ce matin pour Les Sentiers de Bacchus avec une organisation au top et des participants du même acabit ! En bonus, le poto qui finit premier des M2.
Bilan : 12e au scratch et 3e M2 🥳

The only snow we saw (about 8900' elevation). Otherwise, the trail was dry.

Did a run on Upper Oldham in the Mt Elden-Dry Lake Hills (MEDL) north of Flagstaff. Normally, there would be too much snow this early in the season -- but only saw one small patch near the top. There were lots of flowering Oregon grapes -- otherwise no wildflowers.
