Absolutely. I was hoping for a NG, expected a hung jury and when they came back it never crossed my mind that 12 jurors would’ve found him guilty. I was utterly shocked. I felt sick and was just speechless and numb.

I’ve always had trans mates since the early 90s, when I was in the first lived experience pilot. It was seen as a threat, and we were utterly loathed, with the whole hospital waiting for us to break down (which, of course, happened). A trans nurse became our one ally. Difference supports difference.

When I was in kindergarten I ‘fell in love’ with a boy and wanted to marry him. He didn’t love me back like that. We grew up and she became a beautiful woman at 18 years old. We’re still friends. She’s beautiful inside and gorgeous outside! We’re 45 now and only a call or text away from each other.

The fun thing about #chronicillness and #chronicpain is you never know how your day will go. It’s a new adventure everyday…. Forever.

Part of my old school from kindergarten until 12 years old is for sale. It was an all girl catholic and very strict school. I have fond memories of it. Other classmates seem to have horrible memories of it. The punishments were cruel and wouldn’t be tolerated anymore.
