5/5 When stepwise reducing Nav1.9, we see the shoulder disappear. It fits to the observation that CMi-fibers have broad APs doi.org/10.1101/2024... and high expression of Nav1.9. So, the shoulder of nociceptor APs may well be supported not only by Nav1.8 but also - suprisingly strongly - by Nav1.9.
