As an every-day runner who doesn’t take days off, the added strength building degrades my top average pace. Plus, I work with the bio mechanics/age I have, not someone else’s, not someone else’s schedule, not someone else’s running/workout regimen. Ppl who rest get different results than I.

I’m pretty excited of hitting sub 30 min run times on all 3 outdoor run routes - the track, the north route with so many intersections, the harder south route with traffic lights, worse drivers and pocked pathway/broken route, and last week’s 14 km long run and the 12 km 2 weeks ago. April 🥰

Heart rate heat map and other stats from #running #5KADay Monday with VO2Max calcs from apple (so not high value). Wonder if I’ll ever hit 40. Doing abs and muscle work decreases speed tho and apple vo2max isn’t based on best respiration during runtime, so I expect it to decline again as i rebuild 💪

Are only the men in the cabinet in on his dirtiest secrets? RFK Jr and Patel still being around is bonkers. Same with Hegseth.

Is it at least less time consuming than MyFitnessPal? I guess I probably used it a few times in the 20-teens. Hmmm, kinda curious how much Noom costs now, just curious about all those weight management tools and how they change.

The trick is usually to run the iphone updates ~ 90 days after release but iphone IOS 26 is a steamer 💩. 🍏 should have abandoned it.

I 💗 my HTC Touch Pro II, if a droid like that released again I wud prob switch bk. It’s interesting 🍏 users delaying so long to update. My hubby finally ran his only because T-mobile has free MLB streaming for account holders and he HAD to run the update. I mostly dislike iwatch updates

20 hours ago 1 0 1 0

To learn more about the primary apple IOS 26 update I watched a lot of videos in late Feb, weeded out the dev op 🍏 cheerleaders, and then used all the tips for fixing what I could. I encourage searching for iphone IOS26 Update vids to learn more. It’s the only update I had to research after the fact

20 hours ago 3 0 1 0

It added more layers to getting crap done on the phone, so it increased the layers that already makes droid better. In 2018 the ops experience was supposed to be worth the added privacy/security, but we keep learning how 🍏 has been violating our use experience

The iphone IOS 26 update - developed last year - tries to make things look like glass & bubbles. It’s very buggy. It was done last year. I ran in early Feb thinking it was fixed. Nope. And I ended up on emergency travel and even apple maps was buggy. After research, I undid what I could

20 hours ago 2 0 1 0

We’re also being left with the single Apple update - IOS 26 - that has me wanting to throw my iphone out the window since I migrated from droid to iphone in ~ 2018. I undid all the changes I could and it still sux so badly.

Can Apple now plz undo the IOS 26 crapple update? And for the love of god, please settle with @ashleygjovik.bsky.social !

Dang, not many ppl are getting a cup of cilantro in one meal. I meant to snap a pic of my banana/courgette/protein pancake just to compare but completely forgot. I just need to stop eating crisps, sweets and alcohol. My discipline is waning 😭

I’m trying to book May ✈️ travel. Now that there’s no savings for flying round trip I can book a better schedule flying different brands/airports. I love running on flight days too whenever possible, but it can be tricky. #5KADay #Running

i agree that it’s about showing up and doing mind over matter. Maybe one day I will love most runs, but I still haven’t had that magic run that has changed my biology where I pop up and run just because.

Like if we could take a pic and be prompted to check boxes for added ingredients like fats/oils/sugars that would be huge. MyFitnessPal was so time intensive that it wasn’t actually part of my refitness/weightloss journey after covid. I just cut almost all non-fresh whole foods.

I definitely saw in real life as my metabolism plummeted that I don’t need a food calorie counter to be a fitness log, because the math isn’t clean. But if someone struggles to eat enuf, that makes sense. If AI could really calorie count predictably from a pic, that would be a huge progress.

OMG, I need to one day live in a place that has a wing fest. As I move around ppl always want to know how much we like their region and if we plan to stay. I’m reaching the conclusion that there should be a smug index, a regressive tax index, a gov contracts spunging index & a BBQ/Wings index 🔥.

When this happens to me it’s usually related to nerve entrapment/peripheral neuropathy, which can be aggravated by sleep loss or sitting in a position too long. Lots of driving can make it worse. Stretching, jumping in place, taking a walk can help a lot.

Interesting, most ppl run on the inside lanes here, but I like the outside lane because it’s the longest….and further from the errant ⚽️ balls that come flying.

It’s been really astonishing how our courts kept turning a blind eye against this for so long that the pro-monopoly pro-trust ppl were like, “cool, guess we don’t have to call it robbing ppl blind anymore since we can do this in broad daylight with everyone watching.” The tiny hand slaps for it too.

Does the camera app really work well? Are you able to limit the personal data it can access across platforms that’s unrelated to your fitness data integration? Thx!!

Is a lap on this track 1km? I go a little crazy that my longest lap is only 434….although maybe apple is off. Who does the longest lane on a track less than 500m? I’d probably know if I ran track in school 🏫 😊

Is Neil’s account missing from Bluesky now? Anyone know what happened? I went to cheer him on for the Marathon run, couldn’t look up his profile, and messages listed as missing. I don’t know what his profile name was so can’t look up 🥺

Been thinking about starting to do the same, it’s just so time consuming and smart phone oriented. Sigh.
