For the past 4 years, Ramelle has been living with severe Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) — a debilitating neuroimmune illness that has left them mostly bedbound and dependent on full-time care. Recently, medication has helped enough that Ramelle can tolerate a bit more movement and stimulation. Their medical team believes that a custom power wheelchair would safely give them some independence back. Unfortunately, the wheelchair they been prescribed costs S28,745. Insurance will only cover $2,300, leaving $26,445 out of pocket.

The nausea! Oh god the nausea. Happens every time I start a new med. going to give it a couple weeks first and then reevaluate

Even with aving severe MCAS, I haven’t been bothered much at all from it.

Also big shout out to my doctor for being open to trying out Nadolol - something they have never prescribed but I wanted to try as it’s easier on pwMCAS.

Turns out to be the winner BB for me! 🥳
