Exponentials and logarithms revision practice grid. Contains eight exam-style questions to aid students with A-level Maths revision.
Line and circle geometry revision practice grid. Contains eight exam-style questions to aid students with A-level Maths revision.
Algebraic methods revision practice grid. Contains nine exam-style questions to aid students with A-level Maths revision.
Quadratics revision practice grid. Contains eight exam-style questions to aid students with A-level Maths revision.
I've added a new section to the site today - A-level Revision. Over the next few months I hope to add to the revision resources, starting with four A-level grids - algebraic methods, quadratics, exponentials and logs, and circle geometry.

Is it too soon to buy my planner for next year? 🫣♥️
My year 10s did these today too! I’ve never known them be so quiet ♥️
Classifying triangle questions with year 11 in #mathstoday
In #mathstoday year 10 LOVED this. Some great translation practice too.
These are great fun!
Worksheets containing six questions involving finding volume and surface area of compound shapes. This worksheet includes cubes, cuboids and prisms with parts of cylinders.

This version has cards to match up! Not sure where I found this version, I’ve used it for a few years. Another great Susan Wall one 🙂
I think it’s an Integral one!
In #mathstoday year 9 finally know the difference between the radius and diameter, and year 12 looked at transformations of functions.
Mine are laminated! I’m using them next week with year 10. I’ll try to remember to do a ‘maths today’ post 😁
I use this every year but have had it for so long I didn’t know where I got it from! Thank you 🥰
I was sold at Marauders map!
Maths teachers- can I ask how much curriculum time per week do your Y10 and Y11 classes get?
Thank you!
4 x 1 hr 10 mins per week
In #mathstoday further maths recapped some calculus before starting volumes of revolution
A friend of mine has just launched this website that I think is pretty great for generating quick starters for A-Level maths and he has started adding some questions for Further Maths too.

Thank you!
A screenshot of four functions, a picture of a square and the command "Match each function to what it does." The four functions: a) Calculate the area of a square given its diagonal. b) Calculate the diagonal of a square given its area. c) Calculate the perimeter of a square given its area. d) Calculate the area of a square given its perimeter.
I think this could be a nice task to bring together Area, Perimeter, Pythagoras and Inverse functions.
With the main idea that functions are meant to do something useful with an input!
I love the idea of this, but I’m so uncoordinated it sounds like a recipe for disaster!
If it’s tricky, draw a piccy!
My panic today…! I actually had to make up some questions! Thank you for your site. MWB is so brilliant. Lots of teachers at my school love it. Glad it’s so successful for you.
In #mathstoday (yesterday really, but forgot to post) year 12 did this simultaneous equations loop from the maths association. Great levels of challenge and discussion.
#ALevelMaths #Mathstoday Teaching CP1 vectors to year 12 FM -one of my favourite topics to teach, but I can never find enough practice questions to build confidence. Does anyone know where I can get a bank of questions on the shortest distances type questions (point and line, point and plane, etc)?

What would you remove from the current Maths GCSE?
Anything you’d add?
Has anyone here used Magma Maths and what do you think of it?
And trips! 🫣 They’re a hard working bunch so I’ll do some more flipped learning later on if time is too tight. Or cut out some of the fun stuff.
I realised yesterday just how early the exam is and how little time we’ll have for revision! We’ll have a couple of weeks, but that feels quite tight 🫣
