A collection of six black and white photographs arranged in a grid, showcasing a moody, street-photography aesthetic.
Top row: On the left, a close-up of a person in a beanie and leather jacket holding a Sony camera to their eye. On the right, a multi-layered, double-exposure-style street scene showing a person standing in a city reflection with architectural elements and soft light flares.
Middle row: On the left, a gallery wall titled "OUTSIDERS" featuring a grid of black and white photographs and text snippets. On the right, a high-contrast close-up of a frothy pint of Staropramen beer on a table next to a camera lens, with soft bokeh in the background.
Bottom row: On the left, a brutalist architectural shot showing a tall concrete tower rising behind a lower, rectangular building with a grid of windows. On the right, a low-angle shot of a curved concrete highway overpass against a cloudy sky.
Had a great Glasgow photo walk with my friend Jim yesterday! We also caught Marc Davenant’s Outsiders & Simon Phipps’ Brutal Scotland at Street Level Photoworks. Both were brilliant. I’ll be sharing a blog post on Monday with some of my shots from the day.
