I actually don’t feel the need for me not driving selfishly to be acknowledged by pedestrians, cyclists or drivers. I just think it should be the normal default mode and that’s how I operate.

I use a clay cloche from breadtopia and I like it because it’s lighter than cast iron and easier to handle.

So I flipped the exhaust fans to pull out air instead of push in and that improved fresh air exchange considerably. Same block pinned and oysters are looking good!

Gorgeous tiny ink caps and crawling with globular springtails on the underside, what a find! 🤩
As ink caps mature they melt and fray as they release enzymes to self-digest and turn into inky goo along the dark radial lines. The “ink” carries the spores with the rain into the ground.
They look very happy! 😃
Interesting. I’ve seen them go from white to greenish/yellowish darker shades as they age.

Two mushrooms emerging from oak leaf covered sandy ground. Smooth white hollow stems with vertical ridges and oval holes. Caps are black irregularly shaped in the form of crumpled paper tissue

Are these shriveled false turkey tails I see on the log? That would indicate this is golden ear as it parasites false turkey tails and witches butter parasites crust fungi. They both look the same otherwise.
I don’t get why the focus is always on American lives? How about humanity lives?
