That's cool and unsettling at the same time

The top left main image shows a square-like geometric design created with pattern blocks. Each “flower” is made by placing four yellow hexagons and four tan rhombuses around a central orange square. The images along the bottom and on the right show the progression of the design.

I’ve lived on Antarctica. Just a few months at a time. It’s stunningly beautiful and has lots of surprising life, at least by the sea. by the pole station it was mostly flat and very cold, I miss that air. most of what makes that un forgettable doesn’t exist on mars.

#Embroidery with algorithms: I thought I’d try a staggered cross stitch with an algorithm I call “Buds & Vines” to make this patch on my scrappy purple pants. I’m using the hexagonal weave in the fabric as the grid to help me place my cross stitches, with one X over each hexagon. #generative
