This is really interesting. If I'm drawing anything man-made I often start thinking it must have been drawn before, by the designer or engineer, and that feels similarly futile and I have to draw a tree, or something not previously drawn, to reset that.

Such inappropriate neoliberal MBA thinking, to streamline for efficiency, when in fact due process is essential. Invest in these essential people and facilities. This isn't optional

But please, also remember not to give brushed pet fur, if you've treated your doggo with flea/tic spot treatment, as it kills the chicks!
“The term ‘third place’ was coined by sociologist Ray Oldenburg in his book The Great Good Place, which explored the role of places like cafes, parks, & libraries in societies.
He argued such places were not only important for mental health, but were essential to democracy & a sense of community.”

Sad to see that Australia is now going through the same sad period of dogma from an "evidence-based" group of people. LinkedIn suggests that is, once again, a lot of discontent. This post offers a way out of the mess, and into more productive dialogue:

"The Swamp" by Gustav Klimt captures a tranquil and reflective natural scene, showcasing his characteristic use of color and texture to evoke mood and atmosphere. This artwork, with its serene depiction of a water landscape, contrasts with Klimt's more well-known figurative and ornamental works, highlighting his versatility and connection with the natural world.
