Ah no I didn’t know that and hadn’t heard that before, that’s interesting and useful to know, thank you.
Yeah although not to land this time, the boat trip we were on with Birds of Poole Harbour finished with scanning over its lagoon. It looks so beautiful in the evening sun. I have landed there a few times over the years, always an unforgettable day it’s such a magical place.

Another delightful #SecretGarden tonight, a fascinating and poignant look at the Swallows. I also enjoyed the moles and Zebra jumping spider and thought it showed interactions between the species featured well.

Had a brilliant day in Dorset today seeing the beautiful Bluethroat at Swineham Gravel Pit as well as a White-tailed Eagle mobbed by a Marsh Harrier. It also great to see a Dipper at Maiden Newton and with Mediterranean Gull, Dunnock and House Martins other highlights. #UKBirding #UKWildlife
