Cold Stress Warning Signs to watch for:
• Shivering that won’t stop
• Slurred speech
• Confusion or memory loss
• Clumsy movements
• Skin that turns pale or blue
Do not ignore the symptoms. Step into a warm area, replace wet clothing, and get help if symptoms worsen.
Keep all your 2024 pay stubs and any records of tips or cash work
Employees get a W-2. Independent contractors get a 1099-NEC
Tell your employer if you moved so your forms arrive on time
Make sure it is still valid if you use one to file taxes
Employers must send W-2s and 1099s by January 31
